Got my bike for a hilly commute. Been superfit in the past but significant illness resulting in license loss (and age) conspired, so decided an ebike would be better option. I got the higher rated motor. I initially replaced the kenda knobblies with hybrid tyres for road. Great when the hills start to drain and the motor helps. You can gradually reduce the assistance as your fitness increases. The gearing ratios are a little out for fast cycling. If you are doing long flat straights get a road bike not mtb. Few issues with front wheel not sitting straight but sorted that. The stand has a weird attachment thread concoction that i still cant fathom and the raised points on the contact face dont help. Looking for a gasket to try to overcome this. I am considering getting one that goes around the trailing arm of the frame instead. Not massive issues but when you pay out you want it spot on. Want to put straps on pedals so looking into that now as I am used to the uplift they give. I’m starting to get used to the difference of an e bike and getting to like it after the road bike.

Amazing prices on an easy to use website, but more importantly, the staff both on the site and when we phoned were polite and so very very helpful. 10/10

Easily explained construction details, easy to assemble. Love it!

Very happy with my purchase, upgraded battery to 16ah battery. The bike is well built and all fittings constructed to a very good standard. Was a little concerned that as the price is very competitive that it wouldn’t be a good as it is!
Have done 3 rides totalling 30 miles and the battery is at 50% so looks like the 70 miles advertised is feasible.
Cycle King Cradley Heath were very helpful and efficient.

It’s been a while since I bought the bike and posted a review so I thought I would add to what I said.
This bike has been superb for a hilly commute. I did 1200miles over a year (excluding school hols) and it never let me down once. Not once. I’ve used it along the coast in wind, stormy rain, city and countryside. I haven’t done forests. I replaced std pedals with clip off my static bike much better for me tbh. Fitness is superb and lost a few pounds too (wasn’t intending to.)
The wheel issue I mentioned was my fault for not setting it straight and so was the stand issue (It was a little embarrassing when I realised I had tried to attach it backwards!!)
Man and machine as one! Charging really only once every three days but I do it every Eve. Holds charge very well when out of use. Very sturdy. Weight adds to the training effect of you get to the point where you don’t need the full power. Highly recommended.
