Purchased this bike on the 23rd April for use mainly on country roads and local dirt paths. So far after 5 journeys and just learning all combination of using gears and motor I find this bike excellent. I am 72 years of age and my knees are no longer giving way. As for hills I can ride them with ease.

I bought bike to go up hills and dales to and from work. It flys magnificently along my bumpy roads and steep inclines for sure. Most delighted as I do not drive a car and I think never would after buying this ampere S tourer.
Ampere –
My AmpereTourer S was supplied by Icycle Electric in Clitheroe,their service is excellent. At the same time we bought an Ampere Deluxe 10ah for my wife, but she decided that I had an unfair advantage with the extra power of the Tourer S so she has decided to have hers swapped for the more powerful step through Ampere!
I have recently had heart surgery and find the Tourer S allows me to go as far and as steep as I need in hilly north Lancashire for as long as my backside is able to stay in the saddle. Presently my maximum day is about 30 miles and I am confident that the bike will carry my 14 stones twice that distance when I and the saddle become more comfortable together.
We previously had a pair of Powacyles which had done good service for us but the Amperes are a different generation of technology!
