Ampere's responsiveness led to a complete change of the cycle wheels at no extra cost to me! - You could not expect any more from a manufacturer! From our very first contact with Thomas of Ampere cycles, he bent over backwards to assist us in the purchase of two Ampere Alter folding electric bikes. Nothing was to much trouble in making sure we were happy with our choice and of the chosen colour. He agreed a mutually convenient time to deliver said bikes free of charge. We had one very minor issue which was dealt with promptly. A follow up telephone call to check satisfaction was greatly appreciated. Purchased my first e-bike from Ampere through the Cycle2Work scheme at Hawks Cycles. My decision to go with Ampere was influenced by them being a UK-based company, and the staff at Hawks says Ampere are always a pleasure to deal with. Good customer service and buying British is important to me. The bike itself (Ampere Mode) is fantastic. Took it for the first test run up a hill near me and it did it with ease. Hi we bought two folding electric bikes from you at the bike show at Headcorn Aerodrome a couple of months back, well they have finally made it into the French Alps and today had their first outing starting at Champagny en Vanoise village and making it up to Champagny le Haut without missing a beat. I love my new Deluxe 26” bike, bought from UK Electric Bike Centre based at Headcorn airfield. I was able to try the bike before buying, and was delighted to discover the frame was low enough for me to ‘step through’, something I haven’t been able to do for a few years, even though my current bike was also a step through model. Although I am taller than the guide range for this bike (I’m 5 ft 5 inches) my legs are short, and this bike is a good fit for me. I was a little nervous about riding in traffic to start with, but after my first ride I couldn’t wait for the next one, and now I’m looking for places to go!

I contacted Ampere about the rear mudguards on our e scooters, which have both cracked, partially because they are quite flimsy. Ampere replied that they would supply me with metal brackets to give strength to the mudguards when I placed an order. They also promised to share a video with instructions on the fitting of the mudguards and support brackets. The order arrived within 3 days of the order, very well packed and protected. We love our e scooters, and have been very impressed with the after sales customer service as well.
